Under construction

Since its launch in January 2020, this website has served to record and share work in progress in relation to the digitisation of Heinz Cassirer's works. Its scope has always been limited by the expectation of another site, the legacy site that will provide long-term access to Cassirer's collected works.

This month, construction has finally begun on that legacy site. Visitors to cassirer.org will find a rather underwhelming holding page. But patience will be rewarded.

In the meantime, to the right is a small preview of the construction work, as the XML encoding (TEI P5 guidelines) metamorphoses into something with less front end code and more beautiful functionality.
